1. Abe Lincoln and JFK had a lot in common. So much in fact, that it's a little scary. Here goes.

2. Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. JFK in 1946.

3. Lincoln was elected president 11-6-1860. JFK was elected 11-8-1960.

4. After their deaths they were both succeeded by southerners named Johnson. Andrew Johnson was born in 1808, Lyndon Johnson in 1908.

5. John Wilkes Booth was born in 1838, while Lee Harvy Oswald was born 101 years later. Both men were southerners and both men were shot before they could come to trial.

6. 5.Booth committed his crime in a theater then ran to a barn. Oswald pulled the trigger in a warehouse, and then ran to a barn.

7. 6.Both had forebodings.

8. Lincoln and Kennedy were both historic civil rights campaigners and both were shot in the back in the head, on a Friday, with their wives.

9. Lincoln was shot in Ford's Theater. Kennedy was shot in a Ford by the company Lincoln. 9. Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln, and Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy.

10. Both had wives with dark hair and the wives were 24 when they married their husbands. Isn't that weird?
